Hey there! My ’salam’ to all of you!! This is Aftab, a telecommunication test equipment trainee engineer. This is my internship period, and so whenever I get time, I utilize it to share my experience as well read blog articles, paper articles. I am currently working for a telecommunication test equipment manufacturer who also deals in optical fiber testing equipment, fiber optics instrument, and various other instrumentation products. Most of you must be familiar with AIMIL Limited. I am working for that company. I don’t know whether they will let me continue there after I complete my internship. God knows! But I must say, am getting complete support from my colleagues and seniors and I am learning very fast.
The manufacturing process is really very complex and there are many departments to supervise and execute the manufacture of every category of instrumentation product. From the raw materials procurement stage to the manufacturing stage, every aspect is meticulously supervised. Various quality checks are conducted till the telecommunication test equipment, optical fiber testing equipment, fiber optics instrument and other testing equipments are ready for delivery. Every product is checked for its accuracy, dependability and high quality focusing on end-user cost benefits. And my job is to make sure that these parameters are well adhered to. Power meter, wavelength, etc. are few of the constituents that are researched upon before incorporating them in the optical fiber testing equipment and fiber optics instrument that we design.
